Our multiverse is a virtual world for creators and fans to come together to enjoy an array of exciting live events. VRJAM has taken NFT technology one step further by combining avatars, virtual live events, and NFTs. VRJAM’s mirrorverse was designed with three key characteristics:
- Creator, entertainment-focused — The VRJAM team is made up of entertainment industry veterans who have previously worked with Grammy award-winning artists and produced blockbuster films. We understand the creative processes of artists and as such, have reduced potential friction onboarding them to a new medium, such as virtual events, as a way to release and magnify the value of their IP.
- Device agnostic — The platform has been designed to eliminate device dependency and operate on any hardware device, including VR and mobile, to captivate the virtual world.
- New NFT asset classes — Our NFT assets, such as concert tickets and digital merchandise, will give users new ways to participate in virtual events.
Benefits for Users
VRJAM has partnered with DJ Mag and EDM.com to establish a community of over 300 high-profile musicians, venues, and record labels who will share in the ownership of our virtual world. We aim to benefit creators and labels, venues, and, most importantly, the retail audience in various ways.
- Creators and labels will have the ability to create and publish virtual concerts and have access to new ways to release and publish music online. We have developed several new ways for brand activation and sponsorship that was previously unheard of. Music creators and labels will have the opportunity to mint and publish new types of NFTs, especially Experience NFTs, for their live events.
- Venues worldwide will no longer be bound by geographical restrictions. From the world’s most recognized venues to your favorite small venue in your hometown, creators will be able to host live events and performances from VRJAM’s creator lineup to generate more revenue for their venue. Venue owners will also be able to sell tokenized shares of their venue, known as Location NFTs, as a way to monetize their brand.
- Retail audiences will benefit the most as people around the world will have the opportunity to see their favorite actors, gamers, singers, or musicians perform inside a rich and immersive virtual world. Our Founding Team
VRJAM was founded in 2017 and the first iteration of the VRJAM platform was brought to market in 2019 by a small group of top tier industry veterans including;
Sam Speaight is VRJAM’s CEO. He has 20 years of experience in the music and live entertainment industry and has represented multiple Grammy award-winning artists. He is the current director of the London Music Conference.
Ollie Rankin is VRJAM’s Creative Director. He has spent 25 years in Hollywood focusing on VFX and SFX for dozens of blockbuster films, including The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. He is an award-winning short film producer and member of Epic Games’ elite creator guild, Unreal Engine Fellowship.
Ivo Slivkov is VRJAM’s Technical Director. He has 25 years of experience in the game and film industries. He is the Co-Founder of Chaos Group, which published the V-Ray graphics rendering engine used in Deadpool, Captain America: Winter Soldier, and more.
